hi Guy's
can you tell me if there is a converstion that can give me a better riding position on my 1999 busa. Legs slightly on the long side, i get cramp some times due to them being uo around may arm pits.

Cant find any info in the U.k just wondered if you guys can help across the pond.

cheers

Keith

Keith,

There are several options.
Protek pegs will drop it about 3/4"
Removing stock rubber. Can be left off or cut and replaced for a 1/4 to 3/4" drop.
Suzuki TL1000 pegs bolt on.
Buell pegs can be fitted with slight modifications.
You get about 1 1/4 inches with the Buells pegs. TLs are about 3/4.

I've got Proteks on mine.

Excluding the buell do you have to mod the rear brake and gear peg as well.

Many thanks for the help and support it is very much appreciated.
Cheers

If anything, just some slight adjustment of the existing parts.

I like the Buells- also the least expensive option at @ $35.

Yeah, the footpegs and the rear fender are definitely somewhat agricultural as far as styling cues go...

Did this too, helps, but then I went and got a tobin seat great seat, only bad thing it drops your riding position down about 1/2 inch. So I really didn't gain anything.
