and it is...

you wil make a gain...in some respects...on the top end a bit.
you aren't loosing power as much as you would "rearrange" it.
take from peter to pay paul...and paul might get a little interest too.

much of it will depend on the competency of your tuner....and if you can't swing getting it tuned....then just leave it alone.
