lowering using strap

I have used genmar risers to lower front 1 1/4 " and adjustable links in rear lowered about 2 " .When using strap at drags how much lower would you recommend going only using strap to race .

depends on how much you weigh. I strap mine down a far as I can go, but as long as the front fender is not touching the upper fairing.

if you weigh alot, and strap it down that far, you could come down from a wheelie and bust your upper fairing. NHRA rule is 2" minimum clearance under the bike with rider on it.

oh, the strap is designed to lower for dragracing, but more importantly to prevent the forks from expanding on takeoff...... so its not really necessary to strap it aaaal the way down.
