i am curios how differently the busa handled with a 2 or 3 inch extended swingarm .

    i have 2 questions

1)how different will it feel from stock in the twisties ?

2)how much will it cut down on wheeling on a 240 hp turbo busa

    thanks in advance

i just put on a + 1.75 (MACINTOSH) dosent hurt handleing much at stock ride height, lowering the bike has a much worse effect, with this short stretch, lowered 1'' (pipe pc bmc pair)
17-42 pinning the throttle at 5000 in first blew the tire off
oem tire,(35 lbs 40 degrees) warmer weather and a shinko will cure this, but the longer and lower you go the harder it is to hook on the street,as for 240 hp,i cant help you as i am nowhere near that

i would say the longer you go the harder it is to hook but lower shouldn't make a difference. yeah it will be more likely to hook than to do a wheelie but I wouldn't say it makes it as bad as longer.

A 2" stretch shouldn't hurt your performance much at all. It's not too far off from a stock length to make that much difference. It's more noticeable at 4" plus.

Where can I get an extended brake arm for the 3 inch stretch, or is that going to be another fabrication?

the cleanest way to do it,is to have the mount on the arm moved back,so you dont have to mess with the brake arm at all,you can also get threaded rod ends and aluminum tubing
