Default id like to put a gen 2 speedo in gen 1
anyone know if there is a kit or harness to convert the gen 2 speedo gauge cluster to a gen 1 ??

You will have to do the the entire electrical (ECU, Wiring Harness and Gages) there is no "converter" cable or magic fix for this.

can you use the ecu and harness from a gen2 on a gen 1 motor??

don't think so. different sensors are present in the gen 2, plus the secondary throttle valves, and second set of injectors
