My '06 seems to go a little faster when I twist the right hand grip, not so much with the left one.

Are you talking faster as in top end or quicker? +2 tooth sprocket on the rear will make it quicker but lose some top end. Weight loss (bike and/or you) will improve both.

Ok ok... so here's the list so far...

1) 42tooth sprocket on the rear (quicker accel)
2) Exhaust (A must, the stockers are real restrictive) -Most expensive
3) Power Commander -2nd Most expensive
4) R1 Throttle tube (Stockers are slow gradual)

sounds good.... although

for more acceleration you need a bigger rear sprocket or a smaller front one or both. smaller rear sprocket like a 42tooth would raise your top speed (if you have the hp) and lower your rpm at highway speed.

stock 08 is 18/43btw
