Default Bar Ends and Mirrors

I ordered heavy bar ends from HVMP and very Rizoma-like bar end mirrors from Triumph. I had the bar ends turned down to accept the mirrors and rode with the combo for the first time today. SWEET! Major vibration dampening and superior mirror position.

The mirrors extend about 3 inches beyond the bar ends, so I'm as wide as a mac truck now...

I thought the mirrors were supposed go over the top of your hands and not stick out like that.
