Galfer Green Brake Pads

I put a set of the Galfer green pads on before winter hit. Started riding & I noticed the pads make alot of noise while moving. I cleaned the rotors with a Scotch Brite pad, they were quiet for about a half hour. The are a soft pad, too soft. The feel at the lever is that they just don't stop you as quickly as they should. Maybe it's just me? I have a set of the EBC HH pads on the way. I hope they work out better than the Galfers.

I had a pair of green pads on when I took a CO ride and during a down pour I lost 80% of my front brakes. The first thing I did when I got home was order some new pads...went with Carbon Larraines.
