XTRE concerns

I've seen all the good stuff the XTRE does, but what about the downside?? Heard the gas mileage really suffers. Anyone shed some light on this?? I have an '08 Busa with a BMC race filter, Factory Pro vel. stacks, & a Two Bros juice box.
