It's called a SET valve. Tell your buddy to go over to SuzukiB-King.org for information on how to remove it without getting an FI light.
So a buddy of mine bought a B-king and wanted to know what this cable operated valve is on the exhaust that is between the cat and muffler can it be removed? thanks
Thank you very much.
Is this something that is only on B-kings?
Not sure what my posts take so long to show up or why that last one didn't go through.....
Thanks for the info. I tried to join over there before here and for some reason they still have not activated my user name over there. Is this valve only on the B-king?
Yes only b-king, not on busa.
Get ecu editor(or someone who has it)and turn the gearing and top speed restrictions off(there is alot more power hiding in there).
That exhaust valve will not be in an aftermarket exhaust. It's only there to make the throttle less agressive.
It can be removed without harming anything.
If it is the same as the gsxr's then one wire needs to be removed from the ecu and the pin taped up, to prevent the fi light from staying on. You should be able to find the info at b-king.org without having to join too.
