CP pistons and finished big bore Hayabusa blocks are now available exclusively from APE. Those wanting to run the super premium CP pistons, no longer have to wait for the cylinder work to be done.

APE has them finished on the shelf ready for exchange. 1999 thru 07 are 1397cc. 08 models are 1441cc.

So with this kit is the compression either 12.5to1 and 14to1 cr? I was looking at this kit and i was wondering what the hp at the wheel would be with one and how relieble is it.

Very reliable. It seems the 12.5:1 kit is closer ti 13:1.

Please excuse the newb question, but to do the 1441 kit on an 08, you dont have to tear into the bottom end right? Just pull cyl head replace pistons and reinstall new head? Also are the wrist pins "full floaters" or press on? Thanks in advance

That is correct. Send us an 08 block and we send you back a 1441 block and pistons. You need to specift CP or JE. They are finished and on the shelf.

Jay, I have an 08 Busa with the standard stuff: Full BROCK Alienhead exhaust system with PWR Commander 3 and a TRE module installed on the bike. It just clicked over to the 8K mark on the ODO and is used every day as my primary transpo. I got 3 grand burning a huge hole in my pocket and lookin for the best way to spend it to gain as much HP as possible but absolutely do not want to sacrifice reliability. What is the best combo/set up to go with?
I must decide asap or the cash will be gone one way or another.

thx,
ARTMAN

i'd say the 13:1 1441 motor. throw another 750 bucks at it and you're looking at 275 on spray.

I believe in honesty and say be careful with anything cp makes, million dollar company and a $80 hr mechanic figures out what they can't.....if you want more info call and ask for it...then they tell you tough luck..
