Im at 28,000 miles right now.. *for reliability sake will I need a full rebuild upper and bottom end to handle the extra horses or should I just get a low mileage motor (3000 miles and under) and do the Big Bore.

I will be having the head Ported/Polished and with spray...... </div>
With the 1397 kit you will take care of any block issues, with the miles replacing the bearings would not be a bad idea. I would install a new cam chain while in there along with heavier valve springs and new retainers.

Those are the compression ratios they decided to make. Wiseco now has a 13.5"1. We just havent gotten around to putting it up on our site.

The Wiseco is more money, but it comes with a head gasket. JE, the gasket is additional.

We will be updating the price of the exchange shortly and will be including the gasket with the JEs.

Mike;
Was that for the 1397 exchange? We have those on the shelf. What is your last name? I will check into it.

I checked. No one is waiting on exchange busa blocks. They have been shipping next day.

There is no block of any kind in here from a Mike In Montreal. If you believe there is, please contact us.

Block received Oct. 31. Block was with Wiseco pistons . I shipped express ( $ 150) after talking to APE and was told they were on the shelf. Got call- sorry not on shelf will take 3 -4 weeks. Got call three weeks later - your block will be shipped in a couple of days and we are taking $500 deposit on your credit card. Called a week later to ask. Sorry don't know where it is. next - should be shipped in a couple of days. couple of weeks later- next - bad nickasil. Most of the time I called I was left on hold for so long I just hung up. I asked to please call before shipping so I can order other parts and make the best shipping arrangements. No call. etc. etc. etc. This was for a motor (in a Radical) to be use in a race Sept. 23. To pour salt on the wound it was shipped UPS ground so I had to pay extra $70 for broker fees. I spoke with the same guy who took the order two days after he shipped it, according to UPS tracking#,(without calling) and he didn't even know that he had shipped it and said he would try and find out if it was back from milling.

Sorry about allof that. Our website and other prom os clearly state thet the exchange blocks are with JE pistons. If you want Wisecos, we have to send your block out and wait for it to be done. If you hadn't specified Wiseco, it would have been shipped next day.

This is the very reason we started the exchange block deal. People were gaving to wait way too long to have their blocks dfone. We picked the most popular combo and keep them finished, ready to go.

Jay,

Can you expand on the process a bit?

I'm just guessing here but it looks like you are actually boring a block to a specific set of pistons, and then sending it out to be plated. Keeping the tolerances that close is a great thing!

California. We would inspect your block same day it arrives, and would send you one out with pistons the very next day.
