1397CC 84MM 13:1 CR #172945 JE $512.00
1397CC 84MM 12:1 CR #CK121 WISECO $528.39

Why the diff. in C/R and price w/ JE vs. WISECO?

just the piston kit and what would be better for everyday use JE or wisco?

So if I send you a clean block and $900 for the exchange , What else would you suggest I do to get a 200HP motor that will take a 100 shot of dry NOS ?

Web cams, a good valve job, with port and polish!
And a good DYNO tune! Will get you over 200HP

You can get over 200 with standard bore JE pistons, cams, and head work.

If you ask me the Je's are a better choice, they are lighter, than the Wiseco's, and they are cheaper!

Also Je is owned by Wiseco!

Very common kit.
Been out for years.
The Weiscos may be abit easier on the hot weather starts. I had the JEs and on a hot day in traffic it's a little more difficult to start. Cracking the throttle helps, as does the Honda battery with more amps.
You will be in the high 180s, low 190s with just the piston kit, header, a Power commander, and a good dyno tune..
200 takes a GOOD header, piston kit, and cams.
205-and up is with all of that, plus head work.
Depending on the install and a good dyno operator.
Different dynos will show different numbers.

Jay, does this price include a head and base gasket?

Here is a question for the GURU's ? How many miles is too many on the motor when you do Big-Bore. Im at 28,000 miles right now.. *for reliability sake will I need a full rebuild upper and bottom end to handle the extra horses or should I just get a low mileage motor (3000 miles and under) and do the Big Bore.

I will be having the head Ported/Polished and with spray......
