with a carpenter head, brocks pipe, and good ecueditor tune, assuming the cr is 12.5:1 or so, 225 to the wheel. without the head and pipe, just a tune through stock ****, i'd be willing to wager 205 or better, easy.

I wonder what kind of gas mileage this conversion gets?

Well depends if you need a rebuild this wouldn't be bad to step up to this so you would get a little more power than stock. But not super radical engine build. I wouldn't mind to see what a mild street 1441 would get for milage. I get 43 highway and 36 city. You might not even get worse if you use stock cams

i still want this motor kit. maybe jay will run the special a bit longer...

running stock cams on a big bore isnt exactly going to work bigger bore needs more ability to breathe....more air and fuel means theres no way your going to get the same gas mileage bigger cylinder equals more fill spaceWell depends if you need a rebuild this wouldn't be bad to step up to this so you would get a little more power than stock. More power means easier to move weight. Less the motor has the work the better your gas gets. I dropped a 350 into my s10 and got 4 MPG better than when it had a v6 just cuz it didn't have to work as hard.

same thing happens when you stuff a hemi into a wrangler. most guys are reporting 22-25 mpg vs the 19 you get from the v6.
