the Vance&Hines head should help perk things up.

still does not that it matters....anyone that builds motors knows a CNC 5 Axis Radial valve job head with a few other extra's makes way more power than a mild hand port...not everyone can afford a 12-13-1400 head job. On my 18th. motor now they get better and better.

Stock head or mild hand port....I'm getting confused on what the bike REALLY had done...?

Call Ward Performance they quote the power number gains there in percentages with and without other mods and their CNC head. Typo...should have been Radius Valve Job.

just looked at the Ward Performance site and i don't understand most of what it says but

so far i got that porting the heads allows for greater air flow by reducing the amount of areas inside your heads that restrict air flow. more air + more fuel = more power
simple in sweet
to bad ward performance doesnt have the percentages gained by doing a ported head vs not porting the head

anyways i guess i need more research so many options and not so much money

Here is what he sent me a week ago. Responding to that exact question, doing my homework.

Our typical power increase for a Hayabusa, which usually includes a 3mm overbore is 35-40%. I would say a ported head and cams would be closer to 20% (no big bore kit).

I understand advertised numbers but before afters on our dyno machine give me real numbers to look at..

A good head/cam package isnt cheap... but worth every penny.

We do a radius valve job on all of our busa heads.
