If you keep your carbohydrates at a minimum you can level out your blood sugar and you will have energy all day long. No ups and downs. Because your body is getting a constant source of energy, your excess fat your wanting to burn. Its not depending on what you eat for a glucose fix. And of course excersise too. Cardio is good... Just remember to intake your carbohydrates in the form of veggies instead of sugars or flours. And upping your protien intake will help. Also if you up your protien and take suppliments, make sure they don't have any iron in them..There are companies that make simple muti-vitames without iron. Just my 2 cents..
