The think the grind is only an 1/8 - 1/4 deep into the frame. Will it weaken it?.....Suzuki didnt make the frame that thick for a reason? I have talked to several that have the 240s and grinded the frame, put on several abused miles and have had NO issues yet.
When intalling...mark the frame at the location fo the stock chain before removing it. Then you know the area to grind before intalling the arm and new chain. Just a hint.
