    Default My Oklahoma Adventure

    I have uploaded a ton of pictures to the gallery...here are the highlights.

    On the road and leaving Tennessee..



    Notice that I am in the wrong lane...I shouldn't take pictures while drivin'. the GPS came to the rescue though.

    Thursday evening I got to go to dinner with Busa159 (halfabusa on the board) and our new friend Silke. Silke was in Oklahoma on a motor officer exchange program from Germany. She is a Hamburger (from Hamburg), but no cheese or bacon. The dinner was at a large farm that had lots of Angus cattle and Clydesdale horses. Clydesdales came from an area of Scotland where the hills were called clydes and the valleys were called dales...hence the name.

    Here is the horse barn where we had dinner...



    Jack...pronounced Jacque...



    My wonderful hosts...there is not of words in the dictionary to describe how great they are.



    Coach Doug Sauter of the Oklahoma City Blazers and the caretaker of the Clydesdales...
