I parked the bike in the shop and left it overnight. I didn't lean it off of the kickstand either. It's an easy check. Just remove the right cowling. Then remove the (I think there were around 12) bolts from the cover housing. Then bump it on the side with your hand to make it come off. I didn't even loose a drop of fluid. Mine bolts tight so I didn't mess with them. I thought about locktighting them but decided not to. I was a little concerned about messing up the gasket but it came off and went back on just fine.
This is definetly not worth taking in to the dealer to be out a bike for lord knows how long.
And who wants to have them dump your expensive oil on the floor.  |
Well thank you for the information but I may be in trouble all ready. I thought the clutch cover was on the left side when sitting on the bike. I'll know in 2 weeks when I take the bike apart to do my first service.
