Take a few minutes and really listen (or read) what your President-Elect has to say--not what someone else has told you what he said. You'll see a man who's dedicated to helping the people of this Country.

Where did you grow up? I was born and raised here as well and am in the same group as you are when it comes to race and education. I voted the same way you did and for the same reason. But I also have seen a pretty distinct undercurrent of racism here for most of my life. This election brought it out more than I've seen in a long time.
