thanks for the words of encouragement, the bike is strapped in the front, but only down 2'' in the rear because i have been riding it to the track, also filled the tank both times still had over a half a tank when i got home, next time i will take it in my truck,so i will lower the rear 3'' and light fuel load, which should help,i had a new map in the bike this week which was better on the bottom and the middle but i think a bit rich on top,i will try a few tweeks on that, the reason for the low launch rpm was to just get used to launching again, the low revs made it much more comfortable for me to pin the throttle quickly without any drama (at least i remembered to grip the bike with my legs this time) next time out i will try to step it up a bit,but nothing drastic, just want to enjoy relearning how to launch a bike again,if the 60's improve a little bit each time out and i am having fun i can't ask much more then that

well... i havn't been to the track since i made this post a year ago,and the bike hasn't changed much, other then the dry nitrous setup, and muzzy can bolted on to the yosh exhaust (the mid pipes are the same size, but the muzzy can has a larger core, and is a bit shorter) i have a few parts on the way in preperation to run it on the bottle,a 3-9 '' arm and ek zzz chain,i will probably go with a shinko, the unknowns right now are where i will set the w/b,gearing and jet,i think, for the juice to be effective, you have to spray it early,i would like to set the btc box for 1st gear, with the 2 dial (easy to say,may be a little harder to do) i will most likely go conservative on gear and jet,and about + 4'' for the track,it will be a few weeks before this comes together, any thoughts are welcome |
