Is Super Street a 10.90 index like NHRA ?

Red, *<(:{)-
SUPERSTREET in the XMRA is NOT a 10.90 index.

This is a category that was re-activated. We used this at RIALTO AIRPORT RACEWAY in the RIALTO DRAGS MOTORCYCLE SHOWDOWN, from DEC 2, 2000 through JUN 24, 2001.

This is a category designed with the 900 - 1300cc machine & rider in mind.

Any heads-up classes?
Well, hard to have head's-up categories without participants. Riders complain, yet never show-up to put their money where their mouth is. WE WANT TO HAVE HEAD'S-UP, STREETBIKE COMPETITION. It will take riders such as you to make it happen!

We have plans to substrate the SUPERSTREET category. As it is now, SUPERSTREET is an E/T with several fun twists. The planned substrated category WILL BE "head's-up".

Our AMA Event, APR 3, 2004 at the California Speedway brought 12 for this category. These riders came out and the XMRA appreciates their dedication and support. Teams such as Tag Team Racing we say THANKS!

Red,

The answer, quoted from the post just previous to your last, is quite clear. Please read the quote again. The answer is there.

Red,

For someone who runs his Busa in E/T's and is asking about "Head's-Up" racing seems kind of interesting. Don't you think?

Other than Red, for those that are looking for a Socal local "MOTORCYCLE ONLY" program. It is there at the California Speedway. ALL RACERS FROM THE SOUTHWEST / PACIFIC REGION(S) ARE WELCOMED!

Other racers have asked about "HEAD'S-UP" racing whom are building or currently racing machines such as Busas, ZX12R's, R1's, etc. . WHEN RIDERS SHOW UP & CONTINUE TO SHOW UP THIS CATEGORY CAN EASILY BE PUT INTO EFFECT.

Index is not heads - up .

You don't get it . . .

OK Red. I know you are asking about E/T besides putting a 60" class into effect. There was a 60" class, specifically different from that of the NMRA, in DEC 2003 line-up. NO ONE SHOWED!

As stated before, there will only be a head's up class when people SHOW UP. As I explained to JAY & JOHN @ APE during my visit to their shop over a week ago.

"We will not run a 60" class as the NMRA does with only 3 participating bikes in the field." Operating a category such as this IS not what will best serve all racers nor the position of the XMRA, Sponsors and/or Spectators.

There are more bikes in the 900 - 1300cc category (SUPERSTREET) that participate on a regular basis. They brought 12 for the APR 2004 event. If any category gets placed into the rule book and run at the events as "head's-up". This will be the category done first!

This is the challenge. If 60" racers can bring no less than eight (8) machines to the AUG 22nd event. We will have a category for them, with rules for the SEP 19th event. If the category DOES NOT continue with the same or greater number of participants. IT WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE CATEGORY LINE-UP TO BEST SERVE OTHER MACHINES & THEIR RIDERS THAT REALLY WANT TO RACE AND PARTICIPATE IN A "HEAD'S-UP" CATEGORY!

XMRA STAFF

XMRA, I wanted to know about heads up classes, not Red. Thanks.
LCW,

Thank you for your question.

First of all, we personally spend more time talking to guys/gals wanting a "head's-up" category than the amount of participants that actually show-up and participate. This is counter-productive. And a big disservice to the vast majority of racers that do.

I will make this very simple. Racers show and continue to show it will happen. If not, it won't!

Food for thought.

WOULD HONDA MAKE THE PRELUDE FOR ONLY 3 BUYERS?
AND WHY?

Let me know what you come up with.

Thanks KML, hope to see you at Speedworld next year for Arizona Bike Week . . .

Red, *<(:{)-
You will, and with any luck I'll actually have my bike out there this time. I'd planned on attending at least the NMRA races in AZ this season, but it's taken so much longer than I thought to get my project bike going. I doubt I'll make Sacramento (slim chance). Are the finals in Palmdale invitational?

Ladies & Gentlemen!

Finally, a "motorcycle only" organization that strives to serve the needs of the 2 wheel asphalt machine public and the spectators that seek something different. The XMRA, "Xtreme Machine Riders'Alliance", has been in development since 1996 through motorcycle drag racing participation within the NHRA Street Legals Program at Pomona Raceway, Team Pomona, Rialto Airport Raceway, California Dragway, the Irwindale Drag Strip in addition to other motorcycle competition programs and locations. Primary research, development and implementation of "motorcycle only" geared programs, by Team No Limit Racing and it's motorcycle club partner No Limit, "The Inland Empire Sportbike Original Since 1990". Came to fruition in October 2000 with the promotional launch of the "Rialto Drags Motorcycle Showdown".

Many heart-felt thanks to the people at FRICTION ZONE MAGAZINE and KCAL 96.7 FM DJ, JACE EDWARDS for giving us such outstanding coverage. The RDMS was held in tandem with the NHRA Street Legals Program at the Rialto Airport Raceway from December 2, 2000 to the final motorcycle serving event for the drag strip on June 24, 2001. In months less than one year from the program's final race. The FAA forced the closure of the Rialto Airport Raceway. Subsequently, the temporary end of this unique, "motorcycle only" program.

Following nearly two months of anticipation about a new, local drag strip opening it's gates. The operations staff of California Speedway was contacted regarding the California Dragway opening. The strip went "green" in September 2001 for NHRA Street Legals racing. We were there to experience the re-birth of a drag strip in Fontana, besides the promise of another hopeful & potential "motorcycle only" geared program for us to provide. This process was so much easier said then done. Following months of pursuit, persistence and driven dedication. It was again, going to happen.

A meeting was scheduled to be held at California Speedway with the upper leadership of California Speedway for June 11, 2003 to seek changes and provide information relative to the current and future "motorcycle only" programs at the Speedway. Various people from different organizations within the motorcycle community were invited. In the conference room, it proved to be the California Speedway President, Mr. Bill Miller, Director of Public Relations, Mr. Dennis Bickmeier (Director of Operations, Mr. Craig Hatch was to attend but had to go out of town on California Speedway business), Sportbikes.com Founder, Mr. Mike Di Sabatino, No Limit & Team No Limit Racing youth member, A. R. Prato and Team No Limit Racing Founder, No Limit President "Johnny" John A. Prato Sr. was in attendance. Topics discussed were the AMA Superbike Weekends, Track Day organizations such as the Fastrack Riders'Association, a WSMC club racing-like program, program for extreme stunt riders, enhancements to current programs, access, cost along with what soon became "The 2 Wheel Xtreme Machine Shootout & Custom Show" at the California Speedway. Most of us saw optimisim from the dialogue that came from this meeting. This meeting met fruition by the close of 2003.

"The 2 Wheel Xtreme Machine Shootout and Custom Show" rolled on Saturday, December 13, 2003 with the WEB CAM RACING CAMS, "KING of the CALI STREETS" final. Yes, a final. The very same way that the "Rialto Drags Motorcycle Showdown began in kind, December 2, 2000. This California Speedway-based program is a "triple threat event" which, all in one, included seven categories of "motorcycle only" drag racing. With more than fifty drags racers from locations within our tri-state region. Twelve judged categories of custom machines which brought thirteen rides in questionable weather conditions. The "triple threat event" was rounded-out with extreme stunt riding, "TEAM XTR" exhibitions (planned competitions) that showcased the "Psycho Stunnas" with special guest Jamal of the GZER TRIBE. Of these performers, two TEAM XTR riders, "Paulie" and "Jewboy" were signed by the Ruff Ryders soon thereafter. Jamal, from what we heard, performed in some competitions & shows in the South and Southeastern States performing his "no-handed", 12o'clock skills. At the close of this event, two stunt shows were given, twelve custom machine show winners with one, "KING of the CALI STREETS" winner, Mr. Joe Silva from San Marcos, California.

Although motorcycle drag racing is so very specialized and minute in participation here in the West, specifically California compared to similiar and flourishing programs in the Mid West and on the East Coast. We found it time to submit an Alternate Sanctioning Organization Rule Book to the NHRA for our evolving "motorcycle only" programs. On January 11, 2004, our ASO proposal was personally delivered to the NHRA offices in Glendora, California. The XMRA Rule Book, was approved for use by the NHRA and it's Technical Department at the close of March 2004. The XMRA, the "Xtreme Machine Riders' Alliance" was born. Final use and placement will be upon receipt of our underwriting documentation.

The XMRA is dedicated to the many and not the few. It was developed and pursued to provide a service for the street bike enthusiast through to the competitive drag racer. A place where the average rider can take the "light to light" street racing to the track. Learn the complexities of full-on, full-throttle motorcycle drag racing competition. Racing to include Trophy, for those that want "time only" with the acknowledgement that I won. The remaining categories include CRUISER E/T & STREET E/T, from the slow 16.49 to 10.76 et's in the quarter mile. CRUISER E/T for your pre-1985 in-line four Import street machines and all, American & Import twin cylinder motorcycles that are not of the full-fairinged, sportbike and sportbike-like design. STREET E/T is designed for the sportbike and sportbike-like American & Import machines, 1985 to present. These "street", sport machines must have unmodified ride height, OEM wheelbase, no Nitrousoxide. Basically, a homologation machine with "bolt-on" only performance parts & accessories like machines comparable to those found racing in AMA SUPER SPORT road racing. Rounding out the categories are PRO E/T, SUPERSTREET, SUPER GAS, SUPER COMP & TOP GAS. For those unfamiliar with SUPERSTREET (A TNLR special category), for the time being, this category is an E/T for machines 900cc to 1300cc sportbikes, to include qualifying half-liter machines running as slow as 10.75 to 8.25 in the quarter mile. These machine can range in wheelbase from 60" to a maximum allowed 68", DOT tires, Nitrousoxide and/or Turbo-powered, no wheelie bars, lowered and strapped ready to rock the strip.

To further enhance our events, we are currently working closely with X103.9FM, the Inland Empire's Xtreme Music Station for promoting the XMRA events, participating sponsors, contributors while providing LIVE, on-site coverage. We are also in the development of an "After Race Awards Party" to be held at a place that children, families and adults alike will enjoy. This location will provide special parking zones for those that attend the XMRA dates advertised. We, X103.9 and/or the XMRA plan on an announcement of this surprise location by July 16th. This is your opportunity to get involved and become part of our unique, "motorcycle only" events.

We are glad to answer the questions regarding the XMRA. One of these questions we have been asked on several occasions, "Will the XMRA offer Membership?" We are now glad to say YES. The XMRA will offer annual membership to any individual person, spectator, racer, contributor or corporation; Made available to all providing that the requirements under said section(s) relative to 501©(3)are met. Since we operate under a 501©(3), as "A California Non-Profit, Public Benefit Corporation". These memberships are Non-transferable, accepted as a "charitable contribution", therefore, Non-refundable. These memberships also do

The membership proceeds will aid the funding of events costs, development & implementation of programs and the promotion thereof. Moreover, in the mean time, before we begin such membership to those interested. Charitable contributions are accepted if offered. Again, these contributions are accepted as "charitable contributions". In closing, the "motorcycle only" events implemented by the XMRA are ever changing according to the needs of riders and our ability to provide the service. We are currently in the development stages of a possible add to our program. This addition will first be tested then quickly implemented upon its viability. Although, this addition has an ever growing base and is now subject to bans and confiscations by the Law. We will advise further as the time comes to be. We sincerely hope that you come out and xperience "motorcycle only" fun! We will do what is humanly possible to provide services that will benefit the public at large and their riders. Our events are designed to welcome all. The American, Import and Custom Build machine riders, owners and their public supporters.

Thank You & God Bless!

Sincerely,
